We ask for rain,it comes in torrents upon the shore
Along with
thunder and lightning and all their uproar !
Natures has a way to know when to pour
Heaven's water, on the
earth down below .
The rich and poor all need to drink
Heaven's water, that's free for all !

The streams and rivers that substain life
Travel along the way ; their water
Fills
the lakes, the rivers, the seas and the brooks .
Of every nook of our beloved world.
Out from the ground,
plants and trees grow
With so much splendour, a miracle of life !
God be praised for He is the
maker of all .

Living creatures that
drink of this water of heaven know
How the lack of it will make them die of thirst !
I hope they make it
last
For a long , long time and still will
Be there to quench the thirst of all forms of life !

Are we not travelling along the streams of life ,
Where we encounter,
events
That make life sweet or bitter or both ?
But along the way there's also joy and beauty
As
the joy of living , life offers in bounty !
And yet .....
When darkness shrouds us in its embrace
Only
do we think of Our Savour ; He's our redeeming grace !
And, one more thing , do you know that ,
The
living water of Christ is far
Far more important than this water of life ?
For it is the water of eternal
life .
