Lord , let me be reminded
Of the many blessings and joys I can experience
in reading your words , your holy words
In receiving you through the Holy Sacrament
And living a life that is approved by you .
Let the eternal joy in Heaven be my goal .
Let me drink in your words like I drink in nectar.

Let your words be my guide
To inspire me and strengthen me
To give me courage when confronting with
The trials and strife of life .

For in this changable world
Your words remain unchanged .
Your words are food that feed millions of people
And yet are still enough to feed millions more .
There shall no be famine or hunger for
those who want to partake of them and
will cause no jealousy or displeasure in sharing .

I humbly ask you to guide me, lead
me and strengthen me, dear Lord .
